Chinese manufacturer Foxconn, best known for their production of Apple goods, may build a new plant in the United States to make flat-panel displays. Reutersclaimed that President Trump is to make a joint statement with Foxconn, boasting of “billions of dollars in investments.”
Foxconn claimed it would invest $10 billion, creating 3,000 jobs, to make computer and TV screens. [Note: the Trump administration says it may create up to 13,000 jobs.]
