FCA’sjoint-venture plant in India, “Fiat India Automobiles Private Limited (FIAPL),” has built its first official Jeep Compass for sale.
FCA is using India, China, Brazil, and Mexico to make the Jeep Compass; all right-hand-drive Compasses will be made in Ranjangaon, India.
The Compass is the first Indian-made Jeep in many years, since Willys licensed Mahindra & Mahindra to build their vehicles.
