Fired Employee's going nuts?

Friggin buildings locked down right now, they fired one of the night workers in our print shop this morning and the guy went off on his managers, pushed a couple people around even after the cops got here!.
Anyone else ever have this sh!t happen at their work?.

One guy I let go in January caused a lot of grief - threatening voice mails, slander,vandalism, all of the good stuff you would expect from a lunatic.
Never had my shop locked down tho'.
 
The world has people wound too tight. Everyday there's someone blowing a head gasket. Worked out okay did it Gio?
 
A couple yeras ago I was on the phone with a parts customer. The service mgr and one of the techs started going at it in front of me. Tony (my bud) the tech is like 12 inches taller than Charlie the service mgr. And is over top of him looking like he's ready to pounce on him. It gets sooo heated that the guy I'm on the phone with says whats going on? I tell him one of the techs is putting in his resignation. Charlie just stood there and took it, got red as hell but never said a peep. Lucky, Tony would have killed him.
 
well i do some security work and there can be some really interesting stories, but usually when someone is getting canned they call security in and we escort them off the property. Sometimes they are 3 times my size.

I have had a few swings at me, but a few simple steps and i got him/her in a chicken wing and headed outside to go play my way [smilie=e:
 
Heard ya the first time. I used to drive truck for an outfit that sold scrap and when it got to be time to leave things got pretty ugly. Lets just say I offered to go outside with everybody. We worked hard and played hard too, a bunch of rowdies to say the least. The boss was 6-4 and over 300 pounds and Im similarly built and Im sure somebody would have ended up in the hospital or jail before it was over. This was almost ten yrs ago and Im still pissed. If he drove up in the yard right now it would be fist city and knuckle junction time. I know its best to let sleeping dogs lay but its hard to resist kicking them. We get caught up in our jobs when we spend more time at work than at home and when you feel that you have been wronged its hard to take. Its all just corperate bullshit and better to just walk away. When I got home I took my save driving award and fragged it with a 12 gauge- felt much better afterwards. [smilie=e:
 
Gubamint security?. We now have 2, yes 2 empty police cars parked and guarding on both sides of the building. Man, you just appriciate the warmth of knowing how safe we feel with 2 EMPTY police cars standing guard for us today [smilie=e:

Two empty cop cars as a deterrant. [smilie=e: Douglas Adams could not have come up with something better. Can just see two perps talking themselves out of the crime when not one, but both empty cars are seen.
