Do you like it?

I gonna try and make this wagon a sick and twisted Grand National clone.

MPEFI, Turbo and TB all from a '85 Buick GN.

Should be ready in the next 6-7 months. [smilie=a:

so, the Dune Buggie was killed in action? When did this happen? Say, so, you're a Diplomat owner? Can you tell me if there's any for sale near you? I'm desperate as anything for a car! [smilie=e: [smilie=b:

Yes, we beat the mother loving crap out of it and it trew a rod and will not start up again. [smilie=e:

I've got a damn good video of how it happened! [smilie=a:

Off hand I only know of a couple 4 sale.

Where are you located?

I am located currently in Morris County New Jersey (northern NJ one hour from New York). It's too bad that the Dart is dead. I'll take it for around 500 and fix it as a highschool ride.

Ok so beeper doen't like it.

Damn.

I'm just screwing around looking for SOMTHING to put on it.

I think I'm gonna stick with the emblems from a '87 New Yorker.

The ones that say, "TURBO, Electronic Fuel Injection"

wich style is that the rubber black and red or the cast unit...personaly i like the cast units.....shure beats the pinstripe type sticker on the 89 turbo minivans

Why don't you just stick in a 400 V8 and call it macaroni or do it with a 383? They might fit... [smilie=a:

-My brother basically destroyed my ear today when he got his new bass amplifier...someone get me a sledgehammer...grrr

Do you have the Buick stuff, already?? I heard that stuff was attrociously spendy...

mayhaps a 318, and some junkyard turbos, somethng akin to what feets did, with his 440, would be cheaper, easier, and still pretty cool??

I would think that would be the cheaper/easier way too. Get a couple 4-cylinder Turbos off a K-car or similar and have at it.

Yup I've got every thing I need and the intake manifold is almost finished!

I got the Turbo, wastegate, MAF, Injectors, TB and some other little trinkets for $300 USD shipped to my door.

They all came off of a car with 48,000 original miles. (kid smashed up his mom's car.)

I was thinking about doing another V8 but the thing is even a /6 wagon still weighs 3800+ lbs, a little much for a B/RB motor.

I wan't to keep the car #'s matching (Like thats gonna forking matter :D) and make somthing low and lean.

Time to get out the sawzall and put this Dippy on a diet!

3200lbs here I come!!!!!!!!!! [smilie=a:

He got a Fender Rumble 100...it's EARSPLITTING! His old amp was a total chunk of black turd and wires...this one's much better. Say, does anyone know if they can lend me some non-repayable money? I'm broke.

Good music is in the ear of the beholder-what kinda stuff does he play?I have a peavy TNT 115 amp with a fender bassmaster. As long as he doesnt play that rap junk it shouldnt be too bad to listen to. [smilie=e:

Ahhh....I got the impression that you were gonna swap the Buick V6, as well...

I think Beep got that idea, also...

If you can cobble the Buford intake tract, to the /sux, then go for it. Im not sure the bottom end, is up to it, but what have ya got to lose...

-M

PS: Sounds like you got a kick ass deal!! From what I hear, turbo sixers are worth a few thou, 'specially with low miles... if thats true, the guy was a fool to separate it...

He's big on rock and jazz bass lines (makes up his own too). He doesn't play any of that rap turd...thank you god. As a closing statement, his amp is bigger than the school's amp, which is pretty forkin cool...

-I am in fake copcar heaven on Ebay! There's so many V8 sedans out there I can barely keep myself on the chair of my computer! [smilie=b: [smilie=a:
