FCA US, the former Chrysler,reported sales of 185,035 cars and light trucks in June, an 8% increase over last June and the best June since 2006. It was also the63rd consecutive month of sales growth as Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram all advanced.
Chrysler brand had the highest growth, coming in 28% ahead of last year as the 200 posted a triple-digit increase. Sales of the Town and Country, which resumed production last month, still lags, but the margin was smaller. The 300 had its best June since 2013.
Seven new records were set last month. The Dodge Journey had its best sales month ever, while the Chrysler 200, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Patriot, Dodge Challenger, and Ram ProMaster all finished the month with June sales records. (...) →
