FCA US LLC today reported U.S. sales of 199,819 vehicles, a 15% gain over September 2017 sales (174,266) — in a month where Ford sales fell. Both retail and total sales were the highest in 18 Septembers; the company made 149,713 sales in September, driven by Ram pickups and the Jeep Cherokee and Compass. 25% of the total were fleet sales.
