On Veteran’s Day, the Belvidere Assembly Plant and PepsiCo Recycling will start making recycling more convenient while supporting disabled U.S. veterans.
New recycling bins in high traffic areascollectmaterials which will be sold with the proceeds going throughPepsiCo Recycling to the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV), which provides training in entrepreneurship and small businesses to post-9/11 veterans with disabilities. PepsiCo has donated $1.5 million to EBV since 2010.
Eight percent of the plant workers are veterans.FCA US has alsojoined forces with the Prestige Group in Michigan to help returning war veterans and active-duty military personnel getinternship positions while they finish their degrees. (...) →
