They dropped the A833 I sold!

Sounds pretty deliberate to me, probably because of the weight. Anyway, I spoke to the buyer and he said the reverse linkage was shoved inside the case, and the case itself was distorted. Once I receive pics I'll post them.

All I can say is it's damn good thing I buy insurance.

Wow... that sounds more like a UPS stunt to me. Hopefully, their insurance is as easy to claim (or easier) than UPS's was last time I had to use it... they delivered an empty box, with no word on what happened to the clutch-type Sure Grip that had been in it.

gah...i had ups do that to a 700$ transaxle..they litteraly broke the case at the hardest point to break

I've had issues with UPS before and that's why I don't use them now, but never with Fedex. They better make this right!

is it much heavier then a 727?

Only weighed 103, 727 is about 150 I think. If you can't pick up 100# then one has no business in the shipping industry. The package was marked "Overweight Package" and well wrapped in cardboard and had a moving blanket wrapped 3X around. I also made sure to cover the side where the linkage attaches especially well.

Yep, that main case is trashed. There's nothing you can do about that reverse-linkage hole unless you know a machinist that can re-cut the O-ring groove.
