I went to look at the fishtank and the one catfish that stays in the "log" was sleeping straight up through the hole in the log. He usually sleeps in the foliage next to it. I only have 12 fish in it right now as I'm still learning about aquariums and it's a 180 gallon tank.
Here he is, they usually swim upside down.

Here's the tank, it's built in the wall and butts into the garage!

The bright light in the center is actually a spraybar that puts out a lot of water/air, don't know why it came out so bright though!

Was asleep standing up just the other day. Shame it did not last, all that yelling about getting back to work awakened me.

I fell asleep doing my boiler safety tests one morning. Not too sure what work me up the boiler alarm or my knees buckling.

Cool! Maybe he is dead.....:D

We had a crayfish in a tank that lived under a rock (kind of like some members here) he never moved much, and after several months we realized we hadn't seen him move AT ALL for a loooong time. Picked up the rock, well, it wasn't pretty. His claws were intact, but the rest of him hadn't fared so good. Guess I should keep better track of my fishy pets. :(

WEll, the bright spot might actually be your flash if you used it to take the picture...never use flash when shooting at glass...but if not...that's weird. My plecos always did strange things, but if he doesn't move for a while, I would give him a little nudge just to make sure.
