EU: Jeep, Fiat sales soar

Buoyed by a 14% rise in European car sales (as measured by the ACEA), along with troubles at Volkswagen, FCA posted an 18% gain in sales for November.
Within FCA, Jeep was the clear leader, gaining by a stunning 50% — though that was only moving from 5,004to 7,515 sales. For the year, Jeep sold 80,653cars, up by 132% from the year-to-date in 2014, largely on the backs of the Renegade and the new Cherokee.
Fiat did well, too, with a 20% sales gain, moving to 51,327sales in November (up 20% for the year). The Lancia and Chrysler brands fell to 4,512 in November, a 13% drop consistent with the year to date figures, as the brands are phased out of most of the continent. (...) →
