Not a huge show, but lots going on including a parade on Friday evening as well as a dance (I think there may be one both nights; not sure). It's a very laid-back, low-stress type of show; if you want a trophy I suggest a half-assed '78 Chevy stepside Pro Street truck like the one that won People's Choice last year.
A couple of years ago, Fishy attended as did Stretch and Sidekick... and I'm opening the invitation that if anyone wants to make the trip, I have a couch and floor space for air mattresses (only those named Zem, though :dance
. As we did last time, we'll watch/participate in the parade, grill some lesser beings, listen to tunes, and generally have a grand old time. I live within sight of the parade route now, so we can sit on the porch and be obnoxious if we so choose. I also live on a parking lot, so we could have our own little Mopar show.
My employer is a major sponsor of this deal, so I'm expected to participate in the events; I may not get to hang out at the show, but I'll definitely be involved with all the events of the weekend. I hope to dance with Stretch. :shifty:
If you're the hotel type, it's a good idea to get reservations early. Good cab service here so no worries if you've had one too many to drive your SS/A Hemi Dart back to the hotel.
