Engine hard parts? Try Jass!

Dr.Jass

Pastor of Muppets
I got set up recently with a vendor that does mostly engine hard parts, everything from valve seats and guides through to H-beam connecting rods and stroker crankshafts. I recently bought a set of 2.02"/1.80" Ferrea 6000-series valves for myself, and the cost on them was such that I could compete with the speed houses on resale. Same thing on lots of other vendors, be they typical-rebuild stuff like stock valvesprings or hootchie-pow shit like a Callies billet crank or Jesel belt drive. I bought two sets of forged pistons from them for my own engines at a previous job, and easily could've undercut the big boys on them (1 set each of Wiseco and SRP).

This doesn't make me a full-line speed vendor by any means. They don't handle things like MSD, AutoMeter, wheels, tires, etc. (let me tell you how glad I am I don't deal with the latter two). They handle Holley but nobody can compete with Summit/Jeg's on that stuff so I don't bother with it. There are more lines available than I can list here, though, so it's definitely worth asking. If it bolts to, or regards the engine, there's a good chance I can get it, all the name-brand stuff. If you're building an engine I might be able to make things a little easier on your pocketbook. PM me for a link to their line card showing all the brands I can supply.

I don't make much on it, but on many items I can compete with the big boys. Yes, there will be shipping involved (but orders over $300 ship for free in the US) and tax if you're in WI, but I might be able to save you a few bucks regardless. I'll be honest and straightforward if I can't. PM me here either with inquiries or for our phone number/e-mail address. Please keep in mind we're a two-person store and my employee doesn't know this stuff well, so I'm a very busy guy--phone time needs to be kept to a minimum.

Please don't respond with specific parts inquiries in this thread. Thanks!

i gotta ask..since they do wiseco anyway...can they do bike piston/ring sets?...i only ask since ALL of my bike rebuilds have been on wiseco's, and i know of 2 i want to do still, wifes 400ex into a 416 and my trx200sx yet to be determined....when i did my xl600r i had to do a SERIOUS bump to something like a 636 and 11:1...that had to was due to oem size unavailible not by choice

I knew the second I typed "Wiseco" you would ask. :D

I'm not sure, but I don't think Wiseco breaks up their availability by industry. 3M does, for instance. I can't get the 3M Industrial line even though I'm a 3M jobber. PM me a part number(s) and I'm pretty sure I can get it. It's not likely they have cataloguing for bike stuff; I know I sure don't!
