The FedEx guy just droped off these...the Hemi ones are for a Superbee and the 440's are for a 68 Dart...
They look better than I was expecting...

they are nice , ROB , are you doing a resto on the DART & the BEE ? :bravo:

The fellow who owns the Dart bought one of those 800 hp RB's from another customer of mine...
And the Superbee has been an on going project for me but it's finally finished...

Diplomat...the call outs must be repops because they look new (the customers got them from some place and had them droped shipped)

I never thought to take any of the Dart...the car was really dusty from sitting and I just wanted to get it running...I'll take some pictures when he brings it back all nice and clean...
And the fellow who owns the Superbee doesn't like anyone to have any pictures of any of his cars unless he gives them to them...
He's way beyond having to show off what he owns...I built him a 68 Charger years ago and I know for a fact it doesn't have 250 miles on it in 15 plus years...
I had taken some pictures of his Charger and showed them to some people and it got back to him....He Was Livid...!!!
He never talked to me for a year after that...
A lot of my customers when I dyno their engines don't want anyone around when it's done... they don't want some stranger knowing what kind of hp they made or what kind of parts they bought...

kinda makes sence about the dyno . but the taking pics thing is a touch over the top , then again your doing the work for him and that makes him the boss.

psssss.. ROB , i dont want anyone to know about the runner . ssshhhh :)

"I'm Rob R, secret agent engine builder"

:)

I got thesame 440 ones for the Super Bee I have. Its a power bulge hood version and had the 383 FOUR BARREL on the fenders. Since its got a 440 now - well. It was a while before anyone repoped them.

The call outs all have Chry part numbers on them...I don't know if there nos or what the deal is...the only thing I now is they were supose to be here a week ago...better late than never I guess...

and as far as posting pictures of customers cars go...the only time I post pictures of what I'm working on is when the job I'm doing is a pet project...something that I'm giving the labor away on...if he's saving thousands of dollars on a job he's got no right to complain about pictures on the internet...
but for the other 95% of the work I do I feel I have no right to splash pictures of customers cars all over the web...it's their car and work that they paid for so there the only ones who have the right to say who can see what...
If I'd spent tens of thousands of dollars on something I'd be really pissed off if pictures of what I spent my money on turned up on the internet without my permission...that's just the way I do business...;)

Must be NOS for a 1966 Dodge Charger then. I got reproductions from some guy. They are a perfect match for the originals.

Mike...where did you get yours from ? I'd like to get some just to have...I have a bunch of 383 four Barrel ones and 340 Four Barrel but no 440 :( ...(I'd like to get the 426 Hemi ones also)
My customer said that's all the guy had that he got his from...he does have more Hemi ones at $300.00 a pair.[smilie=2:
I just want some repops...:giggedy:

Rob - I think it was a guy on Moparts about 3-4 years ago. They were copies of the 1966 Charger ones.
