German Formula 1 driver Nico Hulkenberg Tuesday got his maiden test in a works Porsche 919 Hybrid at circuit Motorland Aragon in Spain.
Porsche's regular endurance driver Brendon Hartley was on site to assist Hulkenberg.
The Sahara Force India driver will drive the third Porsche at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2015 and is also scheduled to contest the 6 Hours of Spa, but it all depends if the Korean Grand Prix remains on the calendar.
Hulkenberg's teammates in Porsche's third 919 for Le Mans have not been yet decided. Porsche GT drivers Frederic Makowiecki, Nick Tandy and Michael Christensen are on Porsche's short list of potential drivers.
