electric pilot light?

lookin to convert my modine PA250AC unit to electric pilot, should save me a good 10$ a month...anyone got some input/insight....literature is scares as its an older unit but more specifically its a COMMERCIAL/industrial unit
the unit works flawlessly but it spends a good 8-10+ months out of the year just burning gas to keep it lit

yes..i could kill the gas and relight but getting to the pilot on this thing requires dissmantling and a huge PITA

From what little bit I've learned, "electric igniters" are on all newer gas furnaces. The gas shutoff will not "open" until the igniter reaches a certain temp. Theoretically the conversion should be able to do. But it would mean replacing all 3, (compatible) components together.
