Earthquake!

Felt it here in Niagara - very slight tremour. I thought I was just dizzy, but it kept rocking.

Apparently, it was a 5.8 centred in Virginia.

I thought my back was twitching around 2pm while I was sitting on the couch and now maybe that was what was going on. Very slight.

I knew it was weird when the dog was shaking and my pants were pulled down ...


Err i meant. I didnt feel anything. I think its all in the 1 million ? peoples heads and they have issues

We got one last June too. Centered in Quebec, I think.

Apparently, we get them ALL the time, just not strong enough to notice.

A friend of mine in NYC tells me the media is WAY overblowing this minor nothing of a tremor. Being that she was about 40 floors up at the time, I tend to take her word for it.

It IS being blown lout of proportion outside of Virginia.
The damage there is severe.

However, windows were falling out of buildings in downtown St Catharines because of the tremors.
