I'm looking for another '98 or '99. '00 brought the POS 4.7 and recalled UCA's.
My other one had tons of issues, most were from it's life as a winter vehicle in northern NJ. Torsion bar bolts were rusted solid, and the frame had large rust flakes falling off. It also had electrical issues, it burnt up 6 coils in 2 and a half years. Other than those few items it was a great truck.
I'm looking at a few, all 2wd, all 318's, a couple with leather which is what I prefer. I was informed the boss (I LOL'd that) doesn't want another black vehicle, and I don't want red, Intense Blue is what I want, she likes the Amethyst color.
My only other requirements are tow package, rear air and a 3.92 SG would be sweet!
Now besides the obvious issues, what should I look for? I do realize the A/C & heater is a total PITA, but down here I NEED rear air.
