yea shes not unpleasent to look at but as for whatever that DEATH METAL vocal stuff is called it SUCKS if those DM bands would get somebody who could sing id listen to them coz i like the music i just cant take that deep throat yelling .

Yeah - I'm pretty much the same as you guys.
Some of those bands create intersting music, but zero vocal ability instantly creates zero interest on my part.
Too bad - some of that stuff is pretty cool otherwise.

Yeah Chad Kroger's vocals irritate me, - not as bad a the screamer metal does but still like fingernails on a chalkboard. - Yet, I saw Nickleback at a festival we did called "Shakin' The Lake" in Minnedosa Manitoba just before The State was released & thought they were a pretty cool live band despite the vocals...
Fact is tho, they became a parody of themselves after that first album. But that's not why most people hate them. Most kids that hate 'em do so because they think it's "hip" to hate success.

i just hate NICKLEBAG because they SUCK that and the fact that everyfriggn station in pittsburgh plays them almost every other song thank now im i really started to hate SHINE DOWN because they have that song aboot HAYLES COMMET that sounds just like a NICKELBAG song that pittsburgh stations played inbetween the NB songs .
i now listen to a MP3 player at work :giggedy: cured the whole pittsburgh sh!t crap radio station problem

Don't listen to radio, that's what my cds and mp3s are for. First song I heard from Shine Down was their massacre of Skynyrd's Simple Man. Tried to give them a chance even though they DESTROYED my favorite song ever, but I gotta say, they flat out suck!!!!!!!! I don't mind Nickelback so much except for Chad whining about his relationship/possessive woman issues in every other song. I can listen to em though.
