hung like a stud field mouse and
or know the where abouts of a shrinker/stretcher for sheet metal?

Looking for one. I see them at eastwood or harbour frieght, but the 300 bucks scare me:doh:

Yup, I've got one. Or several, I should say.

Not to be a smart ass, but I call them hammers and dollies.

I have 14 left handed hammers I picked up on sale. Cheap. :shifty:
Are those the ambidextrous (?) convertible hammers? Got to get some of them.

Shrinkers and stretchers are great little tools, but with some practice you can do a better job with a hammer, in absolutely any contour you want.

If you can find some time, could you put together a simplistic how to thread?

shrinking and stretching you don't have to give away trade secrets just the basics.

I did follow your advice and made a bag from a glove (not a huge one from a leather jacket) works neato I can make cool curves but not really sure what's going on when I'm doing it.

These guys can explain it much better than I can -

or search for anything by Ron Covell, a true Master of metalwork. I'm good in my own little world, but a hack compared to Ron Covell.

With some practice and some thinking, just about anybody can work metal with very simple tools.
