Dodge Boy Passes away. Scott Geffrion dies of a Heart attack

Wow! that's out of left field. Guess its good we never know when the bell tolls.
 
I wonder how much the nose candy influenced the weak ticker, one of the best during the hide your NOS days. He let me sit in his car at the mile high nationals in 90 or 91 after I asked a question about how the shifters worked.

He got popped for coke and couldn't keep a steady ride after that, sponsors don't go for drug busted front faces for their corporations.
 
I didnt hear about the drug thing. I enjoy wheelies- not white lines, who can afford that stuff anyway?:doh:
 
I never heard any thing like that about Geoffrion - it would be too bad if it was true... Darrell Alderman was booted for cocaine abuse, that's how Geoffrion first got his ride with Mopar/Wayne County - replacing him...

When Alderman's suspension was lifted and he came back, they were both kept on as a team.

Yep, the dope thing was Alderman, not Scott. I made the same mistake too until I looked it up.
