ok guys ive got a tricky one for ya...in the attempt to keep the van "looking" as mostly stock as poisble id like to get a "newwer" deck from another mopar that will fit and function in the current spot as well as look like it was born there....yeah i know this is tabbo to some of you music lovers but ...i just need it as a driver..ive got the speakers and amps to make up for it...think of it as a stealth operation...the current deck does the job ..but idealy something with cd changer controls and or outputs for an amp/amps and a higher wattage than the stock strip down AM/FM unit in 1989..CD capabilitys a plus but not required...

any ideas/make/model/year?...a few times ive considered the "delux" model for 89(what was it bose or infinity? with a built in EQ)...but figured that something from a late 90s would probably be a vast improvement......i dont want to hear any aftermarket sugjestions unless your sending me the unit :P

ps yes this is the BIG open unit that ma loved to use

as it stands the van has a set of sony expoleds up front and a set of 6x9 sonys in the rear and a 600 watt amp and big box awaiting a deck with some outputs

very late 90s mini van unit in the RC (for passengers) 10 bux at a tag sale

"fits like it was born there" after a little face panel tweaking it was plug and play:dance:

am fm cassette, no EQ just seperate bass and treble controls, front rear fade. seek etc.. Mikey likes the pen point clock adjustment:doubt:

shakes the shit out of the factory speakers:huh:

you sure its very late 90s?..cause other than the tape deck you just described the stock deck lol....

anyone got some part # of "ideal" stock decks atleast?...or at a minimum the part #'s to the cd changer units?....theres litteraly a few hundred of them at the wrecker for like 7$ each..and if it dont work i simply exchange it for another
