I wore my superbee sweatshirt to work tonight and this kid walks in, sees it and said "cool shirt, my uncle was into mopars. He was from St. Maries and had a few cars in his back yard. Sadly though he was in a bike wreck and passed away. Have you heard of him? He liked to be called moparmarc." I told him yes, from the mopar boards. He was quite the character and we'll miss his humor. He says, "yeah, I really miss him. Particularly riding in the roadrunner with him. Which in my opinion there's no other better car!" he smiles, says goodby and out the door he went.

Bums me out that my husband and I never met Marc in person, we're only an hours drive from St.Maries. I wonder how his girlfriend/wife is holding up.

That's pretty cool. A quick little interlude regarding a lost friend you never got to meet, but now you've met someone else touched by his life.

Thanks for sharing it.

wow... I recognize the name from the boards but didn't realize what had happened. :(

Sure is nice that his nephew has fond memories that will stay with him the rest of his life. For that, Marc deserves a :bravo:

God bless his family, I'm sure they miss him.
