Holy SHIT. I for one, do not have the balls to try and load that. Incredible!!!

Notice the extra set of outriggers behind the front wheels.
And the loader bucket has outriggers on it too.
Also see how the outriggers have been modded to fit the top of the railcar.
Seen it before in a safety message but different circumstances (unmodded backhoe).
Must be a lot of guys doing it.

after seeing one sitting in a train car and wondering how the hell they got it in there(theve been converting our tracks for use as a "max" system)

I had a neighbor/friend back in MS that operates those things. According to him, stuff like that's not crazy or unusual at all. However, it's aparent that only a relatively few very skilled guys get to the proficency level to be able to pull off moves like that.

It's real cool to see pics of a neat trick pulled off in sequence like that. Thanks DCF!

as cool as the pic's are i cant help but want to see a vid

still freaky as hell to see one sitting on a train car in person..as your driving..you just kinda go WTF and wonder how the hell they got it up there

I first thought it'd be much easier to lift it up there with a crane at the yard and just ride on top for the whole way, but then something occurred to me: underpasses would pose a bit of an issue. :P

Still not sure how they'd get down though.

--- the guy,s over at Severen would.. i worked there and seen and did alot of things. to get the job done. XL you know Severen construction? lots of fun .. went to work just to see what was going to happen next. this pic is great. -- smart.. :bwuhaha::bwuhaha: the man in the machine knows how to operate it and trust it . no different than turning an excavator around on a 30 degree slope on a rainy day or pouring asphalt at 30 miles an hour on an expressway.:bwuhaha:
