Playin leapfrog with a unicorn .....
somebody on here has to hear it. I remember finding a Challenger in the junkyard and it still had 6-way seats in it. last thing i remember was laying under the car and wrenching them off..... wierd. :p

Where did you find that book? :D

i didnt find it anywhere :naughty: i wrote . about 30 seconds after i read DGs reply .

its and easy read book too , it only has 1 page and a sentence and it is written in 2 languages AMERICAN & CANADIAN

" wishes will not not be granted and dreams will not come true if you tell somebody about them . "

here is the CANADIAN version

" wishes will not be granted and dreams will not come true if you tell somebody aboot them eh . [smilie=f:

THE END

What's a 6-way seat look like?

I got some seats in my Chally that have a coupla chrome handles on the driver seat and a pressure type switch under the passenger seat.

They're on my "parts to ditch" list...:toot:

that sounds like a good one to tell :bwuhaha:so that it never comes true but if it does heck I will buy it now that I have all this to mow...

What about the "conversations I had the day before coming true" book?

True story:

My buddy John and I were talking about rear axles one day, and I mentioned that it sure would be great to find a mopar with a dana 60 for cheap, like $500 to $1000. Those numbers were the exact ones I mentioned in the conversation. THE VERY NEXT DAY, another buddy called me about a challenger he had seen sitting beside a repair shop. That turned out to be the '70 r/t challenger most of you remember me buying for $400, the one with the 4.10 dana 60 in it.

thats an awesome turn out to a dream man!!

here are those seat tracks Paul! you can see how they bolt to the bottom of an ordinary eBody bucket seat.

....wait a minute, who the %*&#?! :bwuhaha:

i couldnt resist adding a little humor.... oh yeah, if you look under the car. here are the brackets that help support the 6way seat set-up. those clean brackets mount through the floor to these.

I dunno if you were talking to me, but that really happened. It was a rust bucket for real, but it turned out to be a 440-6 car to boot! (it had a hi po 383 in it when I got it, and I didn't know then that v meant 440-6.) It meant cha-ching! when I ebayed it though.

thats one hell of a find!!

Yeah, it was kinda hard to believe at first. I put it on ebay with a buy it now of $10k. It lasted about 25 minutes, then someone got it. You have to understand how rusty it was though-the trans crossmember was so rusted that the driver's side torsion bar was twisting the crossmember instead of holding the car up.

*makes vain attempt at imitating Alice Cooper* "Welcome to my nightmare...":nanatar:*end pathetic attempt at rock stardom*

:toot:

So anyone know what that switch looking thingy is under the pass seat? A Joy Buzzer maybe?:helpme:

:bwuhaha:
