Cool rod project

Hell, it's already essentially an altered-wheelbase ride! It just needs an A990 Hemi and a 4-speed backed up by a Dana!
 
Moons ago I had a '40 Dodge 2dr that I squeezed a sbc into. (yea, I know, everyone else did too.) :o

It was a major squeeze to even get that in there.:(
With the stock L6 they tip the scales over 3700# They look big but the front seat is quite narrow, and under the hoods it's a lot narrower.:doh:
 
OK, then, we'll switch to a twin-turbo stroker 4.0L Jeep motor with an AMC 258 crank, bellhousing for the AX15 trans with a Toyota Supra Turbo 5-speed bolted to it. :dance:
 
this is true i just wasnt sure about the turbo placement of the 6 vs the 4 you could move the turbo fore/aft of the engine to make space if you cant claer on the sides
 
I don't think you could squeeze a cummins in there unless you somehow moved the radiator forward. There's a lot of room in front of the radiator but that nose is awful narrow. :doh:
