The Best Fun In The World Is Right There,
I was really, really bored and needed to purchase a crossmember from a '76 Dart for an order I had, so I went to a J/Y to-day and found the crossmember.
I then wandered around another yard and purchased a Digital instrument cluster from an '87 New Yorker (Front Wheeler) and brought it home.
I've always been curious about how difficult they are to sort out and wire up.
Well, 2 hours after I got it home I had the wiring sorted out and it's sitting on the table with various sensors attached and works great!
It will fit, with minor mods, right into a '67-'76 Valiant or Duster dashboard.
My demented mind is thinking that a '67 Valiant, or a '73 Duster, is going to get a 360 Magnum along with a Digital instrument cluster.
Might even hack the dash and install a factory '90s CD player. :hmmm:
Wish I could turn these ideas into cash.
Mark.
