IS ON THE GROUND!!! :giggedy: One worn LUK clutch, guess it had been replaced at least one other time

Flywheel got a bit hot...


So did the pressure plate...


Disc is a bit worn...


And my personal favorite, the remains of the throwout bearing...


One NV5600, can't get the truck up high enough to get it out from under there...

What clutch set-up you going to? South Bend or ???

I wanted the South Bend, but just couldn't swing that this time. I went with a Stage 3 Phoenix Friction ceramic, with a new flywheel. Sucks, I had other stuff I wanted first, but you know how that goes.

The South Bend dual-disc setup weighs more than the transmission, I think... but it's indestructibe.

Got it in, nice feeling clutch, and you can definitely tell when it engages. :dance:

Would've been done yesterday, but, uhh, I had a case of the dumbass. I had it all together, rolled over to grab the driveshaft and I looked over and saw the clutch fork and throwout bearing lying on the ground [smilie=l: walked away for the rest of the day after that...

Ahh that sucks....you did the right thing to walk away. I would have been so mad I probably would have screwed something else up, or hurt myself.

Glad oyu got it all back together and working! :2thumbs:

Should have known something was wrong, it went together as easy as it came apart.
