Chrysler is Screwed

Snagging the top 2 people from toyota's marketing arm the last week is a big blow to toyota and everyone one else building cars, I think the cerberus boys are serious aboot making Chrysler fly again.

On the plus side this new CEO is in tucj with winning at NASCAR is worth the bucks spent. CEOs move around alot lets see what the new guy has to offer before we diss him.

They got another GM exec too, didn't they?

To pull execs away from other companies says a lot.

Yes, this is considered a major coup in cars sales circles, they got GM's China sales guy who got china to allow merican cars sales there, apparently they love Buicks over there:huh:

I wasn't happy when it was announced he was CEO either but I do think the powers that be are serious about making Chrysler shine again. I am certainly glad that the Challenger is as far along as it is because I think the new guys are for pushing alot more hybrid/alternative fuel cars. Long live the Hemi, all 3 generations :)

I truly hope I'm wrong, he's right about the overlap in vehicles among the different lines. I also hope the Challenger isn't changed too much from the prototype, and I would really like to see Plymouth resurrected, though I doubt that'll happen... I guess all we can do is wait and hope :helpme:

My feelings are stagnant when it comes to Chrysler or the other comps. No one has made a car worth looking at, for years. Least one I can afford. Ford almost came close, but it is, after all, a Ford.:dgt:

I don't think this move is as bad as everyone makes it out to be. This guy seems to be a no-nonsense kind of guy but he could bring something any American car company could use right now and that's a set of balls. This brings with it a chance for failure, but look what playing it safe has done for GM.

Agreed. Just transportation boxes these days.
