Chilling and Thrilling at X Games Aspen 2016 With the Jeep® Fleet

Each winter, the world’s best winter action sports athletes and thousands of fans gather on Buttermilk Mountain for X Games Aspen,and for the 13th year running, the Jeep® brand served as the event’s exclusive automotive sponsor. The Jeep brand brought 20 pristine vehicles to Aspen. Some were there to look pretty, while many others were put to work providing rugged and capable shuttle service between Buttermilk Mountain and various downtown locations. Winter sports fans were greeted by a Deep Cherry Red Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk (recently named Four Wheeler Network’s “Four Wheeler of the Year”) at the entrance to the games. At the Jeep brand Playground near the Slopestyle Course, a snow sculpture depicted a Wrangler Backcountry bursting out of the mountain — using a real two-door model in Extreme Purplefor maximum effect. Visitors were able to use the snow sculpture as a backdrop for a 360-degree image captured using a unique multi-camera system. Once captured, attendees shared these images through their social channels, aggregated through the hashtag #JeepXGames.
