The 2015 ALG residual value awards for passenger cars, based on maintainingtheir value over time, were dominated by imports, particularly Subaru (three cars out of eleven). However, a single American car topped its class — the Dodge Charger, winning the full-sized car category for the second year in a row.
In the utility vehicle category, every winner was an import, with Subaru garnering two more awards, and Land Rover, despite poor quality ratings, garnering three. Toyota/Lexus also won three places and Honda, two. There are tenclassesfor utilities. For pickups, there are two classes, both won by Toyota. The van classes were won by Honda (minivans) and Mercedes (two commercial vans.)
