Challenger question

While I'm in this straight jacket, I can't be
Years ago, when I still had all my SuperBirds, the parts guy at the local Chrysler/Plymouth gave me a 70-71 parts catalog, saying, "You're a parts guy, look up your own parts." I don't have it anymore, but it was NOT the final edition, but rather an interim book. I remember there was a listing for air cleaner bases for 70-71 Challengers to use with the T/A hood, like 426 Hemi, 440 6 and 4 bbl, 383, and 340 4 and 6 bbl. When I used to frequent the drag strips, Super/Stock Challengers usually had the T/A hood regardless of engine, but I never saw a factory T/A hood on anything but a T/A. Is anyone aware of a Hemi or 383 Challenger with a FACTORY INSTALLED T/A hood?

At one point the shakers were unavailable for the challys (they went to the higher food chain 'cudas) so the the t/a type hoods were used on at least some of the hammy cars. If memory serves, anytime the fresh air option was ordered and the shakers were short, you got the t/a. Hemis for sure but I can't remember on the 6 packs or 4bbl cars since those cars could be fresh air-less in chally form.

My brother's 70 Hemi Challenger didn't have factory fresh air, but it had a shaker hood by the time we were done with it.

From what I understand it was an option, N94 fresh air fiberglass hood. The only difference is it was painted body color.
