Hey any of you guys payed attention to the commercial for that movie Cars?..theres a Superbird in it. Not sure if theres a post for this but thought I'd bring it up.

ive watched some bits of it..being its a pixar flik im intrested..disny as a whole sucks ass any more since there toons are no longer worth watching as there 90% musical with only 10% of content and storyline...i do know that "the king" is a voice in it ..WOOO

Yup that Superbird is voiced by none other than Richard Petty himself!!

I was at Target w/the kids and in the toy section there are alot of model/playsets from the movie... One is a dead ringer for a 70'ish Challenger and his name is "Snot Rod", lol.

My wife snagged the 1/64 petty bird last week at kameapart.

That's the one I still need as well as Snot Rod. I only wanted 4 cars out of the whole cast and I've got half of them

I saw a bunch in a K&S Toys in Buffalo - but no Snot Rod or King. The guy said the cars were released in teo groups and they hadn't received the second group yet, but they were due any day....

I'll definitely see the movie - probably buy it on DVD when it comes out, too.

I like most Pixar stuff. It's good for the kids and there's usually some jokes in there that only the adults will catch.

The snot rod isn't issued as a first series release as a single, your right, it only shows as part of a doubleset. I'll keep an eye out for a second set.
