Car storage lifts

Are they worth the investment? There are some of these that are available for about $3000 cdn. Good for about 6000 #s . Can be used for minor under car work as well as being able to store 2 cars in one floor space. Thoughts.

Certainly a valuable tool and once you have one you'll wonder how you lived without.

For mainly storage use the drive on type work well but for more service/work type use I prefer a twin post frame contact hoist.

Dad and i had a shop with one of those hoists man I miss that place! Dad tried to start a car lot sold a few but one of the guys started using cocaine again And it went all downhill from there. The big tipoff for me was when the posttage metering scale disappeared!:doh:

I'd have one if I had the room.

Actually once I get the Charger done, I'm going to take down the overhead shelving on that side of the garage and see what I've got to work with.

I'll have to change the garage door opener.

What I'd really like is the elevator that goes down into the floor....
and then opens onto my bat cave under the driveway and front yard.
