Car of the Week: 1971 Plymouth Road Runner

Beautiful car, but I just can't get into it. It only has 2 pedals and the top is sheet metal. :huh:

My favorite year of the B body, I like the Plymouths just a little better than the Dodges. Really nice to see he kept the 383 instead of sticking in a 440+6 or a Hemi.

There is an older gentleman just up the street from me with an original paint '71 Satellite Sebring Plus that I've been trying to get hold of for a couple years. 60k on the original 318, Gold with a black top and green interior, I'd feel like King Shit of the Fecal Islands if he ever sold it to me. :)
 
It's a 3-pedal car, 68... unfortunately, one of them is for the parking brake. ;)

Too bad they didn't have good light when shooting that car. That's the color I'm painting the LeBaron, and it absolutely jumps in broad daylight, particularly on such a curvy shell.
