w/out a title? is that possible,as say a parts/salvage or a racecar project? with a bill of sale?this would be for a '69 RR shell or 2 or 3....lol,,,anybody ever do that? I have alway's had titles, and no probs,,but these are strictly parts/race type shells,I could pay a title co.,stateside, but don't really want titles for them, just parts,,,if I cut them in half are they still considered cars?...lol...or just parts now?,,this actually, isn't a joke,,I have approx 200 '62-70 shells, but don't have titles to alot of em'',and want to start bringing some of them up here,to my shop,,sorry Dave(dodgechargerfan),forgot to mention those?..lol,1 car on the first load is a '70 charger,so help me out on this one!!...lol...

I dunno how you would do a bunch of them.....we sneak down the river to a little lisence bureau that gives us titles, as long as the cars are old, and we have receipts. Maybe go talk to the bureau??

....sorry, I'm not in the business of saving them all, there is a reason that these are in the pasture and not in the pole barns,,..exhibit A....here's your nice restorable ,looks worth fixin; huh?........the question was what again? ........oh yeah, can salvage vehicles be brought in whole, w/out a title,on a bill of sale,,since they will never be titled again,,that's all I was wondering,if anybody has done this?,I can get titles right where they are laying, but don't want to waste $120 and havin' to get cops and all that stuff to verify,,,otherwise I'll slice em' for $50 and load them that way,,,

WOW, Hit a tree and managed not to damage the radiator support!!!
You could bring the tree and shell just as they sit, and tell Cutsoms it's a "parts tree"

Hey Dave, the radiator cap might still be good on that one

I will ask my friend how he brings parts cars across. I have to see him today, anyway. :)

If I remember correctly, parts cars are a lot easier to deal with...

You may still need to get the paperwork to the U.S. customs office where you plan to cross 72 hours in advance so they can run a "stolen vehicle check" on it.

The more info you can provide them, the easier it is.
That www.ric.ca site is more intended for newer vehicle but some of the info on salvage cars is helpful...
I'll see if I can dig up any of the stuff I was looking at before I brought my Charger across.

I brought my Charger over without a title. Connecticutt didn't have titles until 1981. So, I just had a bill of sale. That worked out just fine with the U.S. Customs folks.

The Canadian customs office just wants taxes and duties. They don't care about where it's from or where it's going.

I haven't registered it yet, though. I expect I might have some work to do there. But at least that's just local license bureau crap.

Anything older than 15 years is exempt from the RIV process......

So, you don't have to worry about registering it with that office.
