Hey! There’s no easy button for a body like this!
Just an idea I thought I would kick out there. Many of is live in or near Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and we have an awesome car show in St.Ignace every year. I thought a few of us might consider getting together for this fine event. Perhaps some camping and car show fun would be a fine excuse for a group of us to meet.

I can think of a few interesting sorts in the Detroit area (including Sarnia) that I would enjoy spending some time getting to know. Fishy and his sweetie pretty much live there, Jass, Moparman Lhumpy, Sidekick C.M.F. and myself are a 3 hr. drive away. 68RT, Beeper, Barney, And Z are al welcome to stay over here a night on there way. Hell, anyone that thinks this is a good idea should consider joining us.


I believe the show we want is in June on the 26th but I need to verify the date

Google says 562 mi – about 10 hours 58 mins., sneaking in thru the top. How far from St Ignace is the sea of stupidity?

..and we pass right by Mullet Lake. Coincidence? I think not.
 
Maybe we could get the LeBaron up there in pre-blow-up-the-318 trim. You know, primer, no hood, 5-gallon pails for seats... :D
 
It's a possibility, I ain't committing to anything yet though. And I don't want to sleep in the same tent as XL.
 
Sounds like it might be fun, wonder if the Bug would make it that far?
IF I wouldn't be shunned for showing up in a Ferin machine?

At my age I don't plan anything any further ahead than supper, and I have my OWN tent and my OWN sleeping bag.:naughty:
