Trying to find my weed and
While working the other day, I'd stopped at a customers' place to make a delivery. This guy fancies himself a car guy and his latest was just being pulled off the trailer. Here's the recipe:
1) Take a plain '79 Trans Am and dump a pile of cash to have it made into a convertible. Spray with glossy black in a dirty booth.
2) Have stiched together a custom upholstry covered in Italian soccer logos.
3) Jack body up 2 inches and add oversize shiny wheels.
4) Have your 301 ci smog thumper punched .030 over, add too much cam and a good 750 cfm carb. DO NOT upgrade stock ?mile trans.
5) Complete your drivetrain with a high geared pegleg and go!
So what do you get for $25,000? A hacked up piece of shit that gets out of the hole slower than my 318 powered Fury. I only wish I'd had my camera with me
I'm not one to cut down anyone's ride but it was damn near impossible to keep a straight face listening to this guys' boasting about this "supercar" :bwuhaha:And yes I know.....
