Anybody hear about the big ass fire in Burns Bog?

It's snowing ash all over my house and cars, since the fire is pretty much in our backyard. Sounds like WWII with 6+ big water bombers flying so close overhead, we can almost touch them. Most of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland is covered in nasty smoke and ash, making the air quality pretty chitty.

Burns Bog is the largest forested nature reserve within a major metropolitan area in the World, and about 3 square hectares are now burnt toothpicks and our view is gonna be vastly different.
