correct- but when do you see anything for a coronet anywhere????

someone else will want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so what would it go into????? this was a dealer add on unit-right???????
can't find any wiring diagrams for it- but maybe someone will speakup!!!!!!

and I bet you have a stash of goodies up there!!!!!!!!

yeah dealer addon..pre 67 would be my best guess.....i know its not an a-body unit as they were always THIN

can't see any model or markings on it- gonna open it up and clean it- maybe something will show up!!!!

wireing it should be the same as any under dash unit....if i had to wager a guess id say its a 64-66 b-c unit

issue is I haven't seen any wiring diagrams for the dealer installed units- theres a black and a light blue wire in a " T " connector!!!!

My father had an old Jeep wagoneer and it had an under dash unit in it as well, man did that thing cool!!

I love those units, if I had to ad A/C I would probably go that route, for a more period correct look. And the system is very basic. The wiring should be pretty basic, if it's only got the two wires then one is ground, and the other is power. More then likely the power would come into the unit and once you turn the unit to "ON" the power would then go to the compressor to lock up the clutch, and then to the fan to blow cold.

cow is correct on the wireing as its the same connector across the board as far as ive seen..hell all th 67-69 a body cudas actualy have the dealer addon plug allready sitting there under the dash ready to be plugged in...i "think" the ground wire runs to and thru the compressor

I think that the unit is a 64 piece.

Black is power in and blue is out to the compressor!!!!!!!

i'm a thinking of putting it in the Coronet when I restore it!!!!!:giggedy:
