Bucket seats

That's wild i was telling the guy that needs them, that i would be hearing from you first,i said if anyone had them you did!lol Well he had the ones with the head rest but the guy that was doing them lost them, don't ask me how,but he will take the ones i guess without the head rest,is that what you mean by different? Cause i don't know much about the A-bods,do you have any pics of the ones you have? Thanks man!! [smilie=a:

The headrests aren't the main difference in the '67-'69 seats, the back of the seat is.
1967s have a 1 piece hard back that is color-coded to interior color and the hinge points are covered by that same back.
1968-'69 have the more of a "hatch" to access the inside of the seatback and there are plastic "add-on" hinge covers.

1968 and 1969 headrest equipped seats both could have used the oval headrest with a silver band, 1967 used a more triangular-shaped headrest with no banding on it.

The seat tracks on all of the '67-'76 A body seats will interchange EXCEPT for the driver's side inner track on '75 and '76 models, which is shorter to clear the extra 'hump' in the floor for the Catilytic convertor.

I could go on and on, but it would be pointless.[smilie=e:

actualy if you have the seat interior headrest hardware you can turn ANY abody bucket into a headrest seat..and infact many other headrest seats have the same inside seat hardware..they are ALL pre punched for headrests its a matter of bolting in the hardware...made a set for a friend useing the headrest hardware from a newyorker

the main thing you need to consern yourself with as far as the seats are concerned is what cover is going on them..if you want to put a 67 cover from a supplyer on your going to need a 67 seat....me personaly i like the 67 buckets for there steel back plate ..ideal for ppl who may have children in the back seat ...where the 68/9 is crapboard
