So, in my infinite brilliance, I have used my last activation key for Windows XP Pro to load a friends computer. Now, I cannot activate my own copy. weeee. More proof I am an idiot. :(
Any help?
 
Can't you just call the big M to give a new code as you tell them that you had a massive problem and have to reload again?[smilie=f:
 
Nope Dusterman...they will kindly suggest I purchase a new one.

Do a google search for a crack for it. I know there are some out there as a friend said that's what they used on their system.
 
I'm not sure if it goes for the Pro version but the cracked version I'm using won't do the Windows Update anymore.

OMFG! OMFG! OMFG!! Thaks Jon you just beightened up an otherwise quiet dull day. That is the best I've heard in a while! You think Mr. Gates doesn't like his money? Gives away operating systems?:giggedy:
 
actually xl. I have called microsoft numorous times and got free keys after installation on friends computers. Just a good lie about how your computer crashed and you had to reinstall. Bullshit baffles the brain.
 
XL, just got back from my bro in laws, just so happens his sons friend just brought him a gift, I sent you an email with a few misc items, hope one will work. Rich.
