Drums and discs', I hope that stuff ain't all for the front, cause it'll be tough getting it all to fit. Seriously, if ya need a hand with it, don't hesitste to ask.

I don't see any discs, just a set of drums and calipers... ( must be them new style brakes)

Never, Ever, Ever read the instructions!!! If you don't read them, and you screw up, it's just a mistake. If you DO read them, and you screw up.....

You're a DUMBA$$ !!!!!

Mmmmmm,new parts. [smilie=c:
Sure is fun tearin open those boxes ain't it? [smilie=::

Rotors? [smilie=e:

Rotors & pads up front got some life left in em, just didn't wanna chance the calipers , & the hoses are chewed up pretty good, drums were thin, so I figgered I'd do up the rear , maybe swap over to the 73 when the time comes, still gotta check & at least repack all the bearings, got two sets a old crap to pick through so hopefully enough for a summer or two's local drivin till the 73 is close!don't wanna spend on all new for that? Rich.
Master cylinder is still suspect also, a couple a pieces at a time!

ahh nothing like the smell of fresh steel in a fresh cardboard box..
make sure you do it right becasue i dont want to hear that your brakes failed at a buck 20 or something like that... [smilie=e:

Cooooooooooooooolllllll!!! Man I love the smell of new parts in the morning.

Congrates Rusty!

Finally laid some cardboard in the mud & pulled apart the pass rear brakes & axel, short 2 gaskets for puttin it back but I'm cleaning up the greasy mess now anyway, gotta get a seal puller & the gaskets so I'll do up the backin plate & brake parts that go back in.
the mess!

been bout 30 years since I did a break job(with my old man guiding me through) mann there's a lotta dohickies in there! [smilie=e: Rich.

In order to replace the seal you have to replace the bearing (pressed on)$$ ca-ching The worn bearing did cause the seal to wear.

Yea, been looking at that bearing, I was hoping to replace the inner seal only, may pull an axel outta the 73 & see what shape it's in, don't wanna mushroom the the cost at this time, gotta buy paint & lottsa primer for the 73 before winter!
