BrazilianAuto Secretswrote that production of the Brazilian Jeep Compass replacement (most likely to be called Compass) hasbeen frozen or delayed, in an article discovered by “MJAB.”
Some Allpar sources believe it will be produced in Mexico, likely alongside the Chrysler 100. Both vehicles will have similar dimensions, and share quite a bit with the current Jeep Renegade (as well as the Brazilian Fiat Toro pickup.)
It is still possible that the Compass could be made in the United States, with theWrangler changing plants and other assembly plants under-used. However, both the Fiat 500 and Dodge Journey are slated to leave Toluca, Mexico — the Journey after a somewhat longer delay, since its replacement has apparently still not been finalized. (...) →
