Mr. Source wrote that the Brampton plant in Ontario, built by AMC and the sole source of all Chrysler, Dodge, and Eaglelargecars since 1992,has been approved for a major upgrade. He wrote,“It seems Chrysler already listened and will be able to invest good money to upgrade and make the plant one of the most advanced.”
He said that the upgrade would take place in 2018, which would likely place it in advance ofChrysler’s and Dodge’s first totally new full size cars since the LX series began with the original Dodge Magnum and Chrysler 300/300C. (The Charger and Challenger both came later.)
While Canadian salaries tend to be higher,national health care reduces health insurance costs for both active and retired workers, and other employers have said that Canadian workers tend to be healthier, better educated, and more productive, and generate more cost-saving solutions. (...) →
