Boy am I sore...

I had some minor outpatient surgery today to remove a cyst from the base of my neck (right in the middle by the spinal cord). The medication they used to numb me lasted for about 7 hours and has finally wore off, now i'm starting to feel it real good. I was told to take tylenol for the pain, but it ain't helping much. To make matters worse, I have to go in again on Tuesday to have a second one removed from the base of my spine. That is gonna keep me immobile for a few days [smilie=s: (I can't stand not being able to do anything). I need a [smilie=a: .

Actually I'm going to work on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Taking Tuesday for the surgery, and maybe wednesday to recoup because the stitches will be in my lower back, and that might be a tad irritating with a 60 mile commute.
Rich, just tell the boss you want a few days for a mini vacation, I know your boss and he seems to be a decent guy.... [smilie=e:

My stress test is sat am, steal some more of my blood & I'm done with everything but the cat scan, which I won't do till sept oct when things slow down. So far I'm not dying of anything, but it sure feels like it latley!
Shoulda just told the doc, this whole month was a stress test, I survived(Barley) ! [smilie=e: Rich.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Hope you get well fast. I always use Aleve for my aches and pains, don't know if the doc would allow it for you. Works great for me though.

Well, round 2 is done. Removed another one from my lower back today. I think this one will leave me laid up for a day or two. I'm not feeling any pain at the moment, but wait till the pain medication wears off. Anyone want pics???? [smilie=e:
