i got the 4brl offy with intention of hotrodding the 6 ..even got a supercharger for it as well and descided screw it im waisting time on an engine missing 2 cyls' LOL
as a side note ..the 273 seemd to improve front end weight and eliminated some front end drift in hard turns and stopping...this is on an all poly front end

The /6 head can also be safely shaved up to 120 thou with no problems. I had mine done 90 and it was a nice increase in performance and compression ratio. It was quite the eye opener for a lot of unsuspecting victims who's v8's fell to a /6. On the up side for the /6 as well is the gas milage stayed up as well. Very important factor for the youngun's. I say keep him at the agreed price and use it on the Dart rather than the 273 for now. Save the 273 for a later project or time when she can better aford the change.
