Well, I sold the Fury and the VIP. Lost cash, but the only way I was going to break even was to part them, and that was questionable. They are going to a new home, I believe they will be crated up and sent to Europe. The buyer wasn't real forthcoming, but being he's a broker, paid more than scrap pricing and they really seem to like the barges across the pond, I don't think it's a stretch to make that assumption.

Here they are, lined up waiting for the pick up later this week.

That VIP grille is groovy.

I'm glad to see you're making some room. You really need to concentrate your efforts and cash on just one vehicle at the moment. I know, I know--pot, kettle, and all that. That car needs to be the wagon. Avoid distractions and make that sucker happen!
 
I thought about yanking that grille before I listed them for sale, then I looked over and saw 2 sets of '71 Charger grilles, '72 Newport grille, '70 300, Duster, Dart Sport... So I let it ride...
 
Glad your gettng a couple vehicles out of your hair. I know how you can spread yourself too thin on all these projects....I'm in the same boat as well. That is why I'm trying to get the Desoto wiring finished up so I can hopefully get it up for sale and out of my garage. Then I'll have the wagon, and the crewcab to keep me busy. ;)
 
That's a lesson I learned a long time ago.........one project at a time. I don't even like having the next project laying in the wings. Long term goals always seem too distant. Many times the short termers seem too distant. :( Plus, I've learned to take time to re-group after finishing a project. Take time to enjoy it before moving on. Otherwise life seems like one continuous project. :doh:

True...but now days most people are not willing to drag their butt away from the TV or computer long enough to do something that they could learn from. ;) That's why I don't have cable, and very rarely watch TV, movies or even shows on Netflix.
 
The T&C is my only project, car project, for now.

Other stuffs going on; hunting season is close, and I'm making preparations for that. I have a Polaris Sportsman 700 that I'm in the middle of getting the intermittent rough idle corrected, checked all the usual suspects (mainly for the previously mentioned season). I also have a small trailer I'm working on to eventually pull behind the wagon.
