But, for the life of me, I could never understand why someone would respray the entire rear clip only.
That tone is too far off for a blend, so bite the bullet and shoot the entire car. The shop will be happier, the owner will be happier, and spectators will have to look elsewhere for their first complaint.

Viewing some of the pictures full-size (not in their viewer), there is some truly sketchy work on the driver's rocker and fender bottom. I'm not sure if the steering wheel is that faded, or just the wrong color but it looks horrible.
The seller responded to a question with a photo of the dash illumination. There is just no duplicating the look of electroluminescent dash... so freakin' gorgeous. I wonder what it would take to get the ammeter needle illumination working.
There's a ton of potential here; done right this would be a spectacular car. Unfortunately, getting there isn't going to be inexpensive. Then again, if the buy-in is low enough, maybe just enjoy it for what it is: a big ol' tuna boat.
