I learned today that my car is number 8 of 10 that our local high school auto body students will paint this year :nanna: Carlsbad took top honors at state last year. The kids have top notch equipment and do an overall great job painting cars. For the price of supplies and the time commitment of one school year I get my car stripped to bare metal inside and out, body, trunk, engine bay and interior all painted in base/clear. Keep in mind my car has 4 different colors on it right now so that is a lot of work. I was stoked to hear this news and had to share. I know it will not be perfect but it will be a damn sight better than a mako or earl shive paint job. The kids even cut and polish the clear :giggedy: The only down side is it looks like I will have about a month of driving it before the school year starts :doubt:
