Half a million Jeep Wranglers are being recalled because excess exposure to dust and dirt (e.g. from being driven off-road with the top off) may prevent the airbag from activating. If this happens, the Wrangler will automatically turn on the airbag warning light. There are no knowninjuries from this problem, which affects 2007-2010 Wranglers as well as 2011-2016 Wranglers with right-hand drive for special duty within the United States (e.g. postal trucks).
